ELMWOOD/BRIMFIELD INVITE It was a very good day for all 12 Rebels running in the Elmwood/Brimfield Invite on Saturday (Oct. 5). With temperatures in the middle 50's (compared to Tuesday's temps near 90), all 12 set either new Personal Best (PB) or Season Best (SB). The Boys (without Alex Welch due to illness) all ran new PB in the Boys Varsity race. Caden Daum (110th - 19:15) led the way followed by Payton Stahl (121st - 19:36), Rilley Bowen (127th - 19:45) and Brett Browning (129th - 19:56). The Rebel Girls finished 5th out of 15 teams in the Girls Varsity race. The Girls were led by Top 25 medalist Olivia Frail (10th - 19:54). Paige Rewerts (40th - 21:12), Ashley Orrick (46th - 21:15), Trinity Shimmin (62nd - 21:59) and Josie Price (65th - 22:12) finished out the Girls scoring. Also running for the Girls were Alyssa Dyken (72nd - 22:22), Lena Becker (87th - 23:15), Emily Orrick (123rd - 25:13) and Sarah Fairfield (124th - 25:15). Paige, Trinity, Alyssa and Emily all ran new PB while Olivia, Ashley, Josie, Lena and Sarah ran new SB. There was 31 schools at the Invite.
